Why I’m Running

I’m running because Waukesha County is my home. I met my wife here, we’re raising our kids here, and I want them to be able to stay.

This place works. People move here on purpose, and they stay if they can afford the house, if a deputy comes when you call, and if the road holds up after a hard winter. That’s what winning means to me, and it isn’t automatic.

Winning means you can afford to stay in your home. It means you’re safe where you sleep, work, and shop, and that the roads get maintained. It means your kids can build a life here, not just grow up here and leave, and that the family that just moved in doesn’t land on your tax bill.

I’ll hold the line on taxes and still get the job done. New growth ought to pay its own way, so a deputy still comes and a road still gets maintained.

Our home. Our family. Our way of life.

That’s why I’m running. Keep Waukesha winning.
